Jake Trask has been in he professional ranks for 6 seasons, but nothing gets him more excited than when the playoff roll around. "Having one last year you kind of get that taste for winning. Its exciting because that's exactly what you play for. I think we got a good group in here and I think we have what it takes."

The Macon Mayhem's veteran winger has played on several successful playoff caliber teams. Proving he's a winner everywhere he has gone. "I've been fortunate to be on some good teams. Its kind of one of those things where if everyone puts in the work all the time then the winning will come."

After a mid season trade that sent their leading scorer away, Trask stepped up in that role. Setting career highs for goals, assists, and points. "Its not something that I really worry about. We're all playing well and the rest of it will come. I've been fortunate to play with a lot of good players here over my team and they've helped me a lot."

Trask lives for the playoffs. The perfect player that head coach Kevin Kerr wants around. "He's one of the leaders on our team and we expect a lot out of him and he expects a lot out of himself. He's going to help lead our team and hopefully we come out of it with a win in the first round" said Kerr.

The Mayhem are trying to defend their President's Cup trophy from last year, and Trask knows how important another title would mean to his teammates and the city. "To follow up last year you want to keep this program moving forward. Its only the third year in the league for this Macon team. We've already accomplished so much but it doesn't end there.
