Mercer Bears Women's Basketball team to square up on the road against Furman

MACON, Ga. (WGXA) -- The Mercer Bears Women's Basketball team is on the road to South Carolina to take on Furman.

Charged from their win against Samford on Saturday, when the Bears came up 70 over 59 against the Bulldogs, Coach Gardner and her team are hoping to close the gap a bit on their 11-14 season record. With an away record of 5-5, it remains to be seen which way the tides turn, so don't count the Bears out.
