Mercer softball catches two-game loss in Florida Tourney

MACON, Ga. (WGXA) -- Mercer played tournament games against the University of Florida and Rutgers on Friday, looking to improve their 6-15 record.

The Bears played against Rutgers at 10:30 A.M. and then against Florida at 3:30 P.M.

Unfortunately, they came up short in both games losing 3-6 to Rutgers and 0-8 to Florida.

They will have an opportunity to scrap again and redeem themselves on Saturday when they play Florida at 11:00 A.M., and Rutgers at 4:00 A.M.

They are also set to play the University of Louisiana at 9:30 A.M. on Saturday.
