ATLANTA, Ga. -- As the entire state of Georgia has mourned the loss of Pike County linebacker Dylan Thomas, the Atlanta Falcons showed their support for a grieving community in the team's first home game since his death.

Team owner Arthur Blank presented Thomas' parents with No. 32 Falcons jersey signed by the entire team in Sunday's home matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Thirty-two was Thomas' number at Pike County.

Thomas passed away Sept. 30 after suffering brain damage that led to a heart attack in a Sept. 28 game against Peach County.

Various high school teams have shown their support for the Thomas family and the entire Pike County community in the weeks following his tragic passing. Today it was the Falcons' turn to stand behind a grieving family.

Atlanta went on to win the game 34-29 against Tampa Bay.
