Connect With Camille Gayle

Camille Gayle joined the WGXA News team as a Multimedia Journalist in November of 2018.

As a native of Tampa, Florida, Camille always knew storytelling would be her passion and began her journey at Florida International University in Miami, Florida. Camille graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Communication Arts.

During her time in Miami, Camille interned at the ABC affiliate WPLG Local 10 news. Camille came to Macon after spending a year in Dothan, Alabama as a Multimedia Journalist/Weekend Producer for WTVY News 4.

She's a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and the National Association of Black Journalists. Camille aspires to inspire, and hopes to become a role model for young girls wanting to pursuit a career in journalism. She enjoys becoming a part of any community she lives in, and aims to tell stories for those who can’t.

When Camille isn't serving her community, she is trying out new restaurants, face-timing her family or catching up on her favorite shows.
