Eric Mock is the weekend anchor and weekday reporter/multimedia journalist for WGXA. You can see him anchor the 10 p.m. newscasts Saturday and Sunday on FOX 24 and see his stories on FOX 24/ABC 16 Monday through Wednesday.
Eric is the recipient of several awards including the 2018 and 2017 GABBY Merit awards for Best News Reporter, the 2017 GABBY award for Best Feature Story in TV Class AA and a national Society of Professional Journalists Student award.
Eric grew up in Katy, TX just west of Houston. He graduated with a degree in Communications from Brigham Young University.
Eric interned at KTVX ABC 4 in Salt Lake City, UT. There he worked closely with reporters and producers and played a big role in their web and social media work.
He also reported for over a year for BYU's daily newscast, 11 News at Noon. There he covered a wide variety of topics including city government, environmental concerns and local crime. He is thrilled to be able to tell the stories of the people here in Middle Georgia.
